UKBC produced a Sustainability Statement for a new development in Coventry
The project was required to achieve a 10% CO2 reduction and a 10% fabric efficiency reduction

THE PROCESS

This goal was achieved by improving the efficiency of the heating system so it met Part L of the Building Regulations for Integrated FGHR systems
UK Building Compliance also made recommendations for further reductions via renewable technology. A 19%+ reduction could be seen with the addition of solar PV panels
