Project: Air Pressure Testing South-Northwood
Technician: Mikey Crampton
We were instructed to complete a Domestic Air Pressure on this impressive property in South-Northwood, Middlesex.
The required target for the Air Pressure test was 5 or below.
After reviewing drawings, on site testing was ready to be completed. All suitable equipment was set up and checked over to ensure the best possible result.
Unfortunately the property didn’t reach its target of 5 or below. Our technician inspected the site and gave recommendations for work which needs to be completed before the re-test is booked. The recommendations are listed below –
- All toilets need to be fitted and finished with expanding foam
- All sinks and pipework need to be fitted and sealed so no air can escape through holes in the walls
- Seal all of the skirting boards and floorpan perimiter with Mastik
As mentioned above, the property failed the Air Tightness Test on this occasion as there was still work to be completed on the property. When the re-test is carried out we’ll add a link to this page so you can view the results.
