Project: Air Pressure Testing Solihull
Air Pressure Testing Solihull
Technician: Cameron Milne
We were instructed to complete a Domestic Air Pressure on this new build property in Solihull, Birmingham.
The required target for the Air Pressure test is 5 or below.
After reviewing drawings, on site testing was ready to be completed. All suitable equipment was set up and checked over to ensure the best possible result.
Unfortunetly the property failed the Air Tightness Test and will be retested in the new year. Below are the reasons why the property failed:
- Skirting boards were not fitted (leaving gaps for excess air to flow)
- Toilets we not fitted (leaving air holes)
- The garage door wasn’t fitted but did have a temporary frame. The actual garage door needs to be fitted so our technicians can measure what the homes air pressure will be for future residence.

The customer also instructed us to carry out the Sound Insulation Testing on the properties. This was done on the same day and you can read more on the results HERE.
