EPC’s – Domestic
EPC is short for Energy Performance Certificate. It is a document which outlines how energy efficient a specific property is. An EPC is required by law for all new residential buildings, as well as residential buildings that are being sold or leased out. The EPC certificate must be obtained before the sales/letting process begins.
When issuing a domestic EPC, we will grade the property from A-G, with A being the most energy efficient rating. In order to receive higher grades, the dwelling is required to have a low CO2 impact on the environment. The EPC certificate advises how you can further reduce the impact that the dwelling has.
At UK Building Compliance, we issue Domestic EPC certificates for as little as £39 + VAT so contact us today for more information. You can call us on 01455 634 855. Or alternatively fill in our online enquiry form.
